Roberto lives in the town of Granada in Nicaragua. He is in the third grade of primary school at the age of seven. He lives with his mother and father in a two room house with kitchen and bath. His family does have running water. His parents are literate and work in bicycle repairs. He also has two siblings. Outside of school he enjoys baseball and wants to work in police administration. He endeavors to go to a private school where English is taught.
