Living Tree Academy's mission is training young people how to walk with God by teaching all things pertaining to life and godliness.
In order to accomplish this mission, a Biblical curriculum is necessary to unfold the Word of God. The development of this Biblical curriculum is an ongoing process. Many aspects of God's Word must be taught and understood by each child. Being trained to be a workman of the Word of God (II Timothy 2:15) will enable one to search the Scripture daily for truth and understanding for a lifetime.
The following are some of the Biblical subjects to be taught:
1. Keys to Biblical Interpretation
2. How the Word of God was Given
3. Orientalisms
4. Figures of Speech
5. Study of Translations
6. Biblical Administrations
7. Biblical Languages
a. Greek
b. Hebrew
c. Aramaic
Training is more than just teaching. By example, those in authority set the tone and pattern for a lifetime. Since Living Tree Academy is a Biblically based Christian school, it is important that all teachers, administrators and workers demonstrate the power of God in their life by their example.
As previously stated, the development of this Biblical curriculum is an ongoing process. This webpage will be updated frequently based on your feedback (lta.mailus@gmail.com). The goal for this page is to be a resource to those who are working with children.
Deuteronomy 6:6,7 -
And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
