LTA's First Strategic Objective - Additional Board
October 7, 2009
Greetings to you and God bless in the name of Jesus Christ.
By majority vote, the Living Tree Academy Board of Directors has approved the addition of five board members. (Based upon approval by the Internal Revenue Service of the United States.) Once completely filled, Living Tree Academy would then have
eleven board members.
The preliminary search for these additional board members begins with this Newsletter correspondence.
We are seeking men and women that have a proven heart of commitment, have good report among the believers and are full of holy spirit. Individuals that see the vision of LTA and desire to see the Word of God live (LTA's Mission) into the next generation. In brief we are seeking individuals whom God has worked in their heart. (A calling!)
FAQ's
(Q.) Is this a full-time job requiring many hours per week?
(A.) No, this is currently a non-salaried function. The time required would be the following:
1. Review all correspondence presented.
2. Participate in Board conference calls as needed.
3. Attend an annual Board of Directors meeting. (Expense covered by LTA)
4. When travel for LTA is needed, (volunteer) BOD travelers will be sought. (Expenses covered by LTA)
5. Volunteer for projects approved by the BOD. (Oversee executive committees.)
