Announcement - Please Pray for the Belisles
November 21, 2009
Living Tree Academy was informed today that our loving brother in Christ, Keith Belisle, is awaiting the Return. While on our most recent trip to Belize I was reunited with family as others were introduced to their new family, the Belisles. The Belisle family is such a tribute to the body of Christ always welcoming our entire group into their home for sweet fellowship together. We are all members in particular, and I am ever thankful for their lives and stand. Please keep Keith's sister Ms. Louise and his mother Ms. Myrtle in your prayers especially during this time. I will never forget several years ago visiting Tobacco Caye in Belize, owned by the Belisle family, the impression Keith made on my life. I was unable to pay for lunch at the time but when I collected the funds and tried to pay Keith he replied, "are you trying to take away my blessing?". I was totally caught by surprise as I was trying to pay him back, but realized that he had gotten blessed giving in the situation. I was brought to tears and humbled. Psalm 116:15 Precious (costly) in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.
Today I am thankful for the Return of our living lord and saviour knowing that the body of Christ will be together for eternity. Once again, please continue to pray for the Belisle family, our fellow-laborers of LTA. In Him, Shannon I Thessalonians 4:13 - 18
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
