Biblical & Academic Curriculum Update!

June 21, 2010

God bless you.

The Living Tree Academy Board of Directors convened in
Nashville Tennessee on May 29-31 for the annual meeting.
During these three days several major topics were discussed
in light of our goal, mission and strategic objectives.

One of the topics, curriculum, led to some discussion early
Sunday morning. This workshop ended at 10:00 AM so everyone
could change meeting rooms prepare for our Sunday morning
fellowship and hear the Word of God taught.

After the meeting I was approached by Doug and Buffie Hargrave,
whom I refer to as Priscilla & Aquila. They informed me in some what
of a serious tone, that the three of us needed to meet for about an hour
after the meetings were over.

At this brief meeting, Buffie informed me that she would like
to develop both the Biblical and Academic curriculum as one package.
I of course was thankful and thrilled at the same time. To have a woman
of this caliber (with a heart for God, love for God's people and ability to teach and
train young children) develop this package that eventually will touch the lives
of so many was an Ephesians 3:20 experience:

Ephesians 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
The following is a brief introduction of Buffie and her husband Doug. Both wonderful believers of God and both tremendous servants (doulos) to all Christians.

Ephesians 3:20 Literal

Now to Him Who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all you ask or think,
according to the inherent power that is being energized in you, glory to Him [God] by Christ Jesus throughout all generations and all ages and ages, forever. So be it.
